Bright nails+rainy days.

Hello readers! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend! For a lot of you february means the last month of winter AND the sweet cravings of spring fashion trends.While you are dreaming about that, WE the "left overs" from the other side of the world are still living in summer and dreaming upon the cooler days when we can wear our faux leather jackets without breaking out in sweat! :D

I had a fantastic weekend in and out from the rain...turkish lunch with friends, making fruit kebabs with marshamallows,photo shoots with my bff aand make up lessons. So girly but so fun :)




I used this vintage belt ( which was fairly small!) as a headband, and it fit nicely :D

OHH and ate lots of jelly beans, sadly they didnt have my favourite blue jelly beans :(

Flight of the Conchords weekend.

So this weekend i finally got out the second season of Flight of the Conchords. They are seriously awesome! Makes me proud that i live in New Zealand :) If you haven't seen it, you should! It's kind of.. akward/hilarious/musical/Napoleon Dynamite style of comedy show!

Today i wore my "new" vintage dress that i got for only $2!! It has an awesome floral print and a cool cut out back detail. I paired it up with my levis crop jacket and a high waist belt. I like the contrast between those two :)







I also started volunteering at a big opshop! It is an awesome job. I get a chance to be surrounded by vintage and retro dresses,bags,shoes andd mooore. Not sure if this will be any good for my wallet though! :D

I see red , i see Summer!

Hey bloggers! While looking throughout today's photos i feel so peaceful. There's something about sea, children's laughter and sun put together that makes the beach so magical!
I had very fun with this outfit. I felt a bit old fashioned but i loved it :D heh. I got these thrifted stripey shorts not so long and thought it was time to wear them. My favourite detail has to be my anchor necklace that i've got for $3! Bargain buy.







Sorry for so many photos! But i had a lot of fun taking photos of seagulls , they are perfect models :D

I love your Smile.

"I love your smile", so the tshirt says :) People look much better with a smile on their face. And usually when meeting new people afterwards i only remember the ones that smiled :)
On the january the 4th i had made a new friend. His name is Čikas Čikutis Čikutukas ( Čikas for short ) He is one FINE Fuji FinePix S1500 Camera. I love him so much already, and im pretty sure we will take some awesome photos together ;)

So today i had worn my new pleather skirt. Like i wrote before, not a big fan of skirts, but this was on sale and it looked like a style i should try! I paired it up with a tee that i bought back in Lithuania and some jewels. It was a great day after all: sushi,laughing,ice cream and photos! (Minus the sun burn)






Now that me and Čikas are friends i will hopefully be posting more often :D Hope everyone had an awesome start to 2010!!

Golden jewels.

So ehm, this is my summer uniform. Shorts,an oversized stripe tee,chuck taylors or studded sandals AND a pile of jewelry! I've been lucky to score some cool pieces of jewelry on the Boxing day sale! It was awesome, all of my new jewelry costed me $5 each so i couldn't help myself. This shows how much i love golden tones and everything that shines! hehe

Sunscreen is my best friend!

Hello bloggers! Soo as stupid as my title sounds, i think it's right to say that applying sunscreen on your skin ( and especially your face) is the top priority for me this summer! :D Because the sun in New Zealand and Australia is very harsh and you burn soo easy and your skin can age very quick because of the sun! So remember, when you are at the beach, slip some susncreen on :P it will only make your legs shiny! hehe

So today we had our last school assembly *sniff sniff* it was hilarious and sad in same time! I wore my hippie folk dress that i got back in Lithuania.It is so breezy and perfect for this humid weather! We took these photos after the assembly at our town! Really gorgeous place :)
